Dana Point Wedding: October 2013

On a quiet, but intimate thursday evening at the St. Regis Monarch Resort in Dana Point...

Lisa Marie and Zach flew from New York to come together to share their love...

The gorgeous bride!

Beautiful Sisters!

A simple lizianthus and eucalyptus boutonniere for the groom.

Ok, these flower girls were beyond cute it hurts!
They looked amazing in the flower crowns that I made them.

A little peak of the centerpieces.

Congrats Lisa and Zach!

San Diego Backyard Wedding: June 2013

First off, I apologize for not blogging and posting pictures for almost months now! So much has been going on in the Shokair household...remodeling renovation to our fixer-upper house, booking many more weddings (thank you to all who have been referring me to other brides!) and my husband and I are expecting our first baby in April 2014!! We are so thrilled on this crazy adventure to being parents. However, this will not keep me from my love for flowers and blessing brides with beautiful arrangements on their BIG DAY.  If anything, there's going to be more posts involving baby showers and I feel as though this new side of me (hormonal and emotional) is only going to inspire me to make more beautiful arrangements!

So without further a do...everyone who has been requesting this post of the flowers that I did along with the day of coordinating...here you go!!

Sarah and Denny Moody's wedding was held in Denny's parents' backyard in Jamul. It was absolutely perfect and breathtaking! It was quite the honor to be apart of this wedding in florals and to witness the beautiful union in person.

Denny's little sister, the flower girl, rocked my flower power crown!!

Lovely girls

And the ceremony site...over looking the valley and moutains!

Reception: Party time!

Sarah's lovely bridesmaid made the cake! So delicious and I was honored to decorate it <3 p="">

Congrats you love birds! It was a pleasure and honor to do your flowers and day of!
Gorgeous wedding!

XoXo,

Esther

And a special thank you to Clove and Kin Photography for the stunning pictures!

The Trim Shoppe

My dear friend Jenn who I had the pleasure of working with at Anthropologie in Irvine has incredible talent! Ever wonder how all those displays in the window and in store were created in beautiful Anthropologie? JENN! She was the display coordinator who built all that creative installation that we would stand and galk at!

Well, that same creative and talented mind has created the Trim Shoppe! She makes beautiful signage that you could use and have for your wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, nursery and for your business! She literally can do anything from building incredible displays to painting stunning signage.  If you're interested, contact her on: The Trim Shoppe

Here is a little sample of her talent:

My Haus. My Life. My Flowers.

This past Monday, the 18th I turned another year older. The older I get, the more I try to figure out what I want in life and how I can be the happiest while making others happy too! Does this make me a people pleaser...ya sorta, but I'm ok with that! Do I necessarily want to always please people per say?  No, but there is a sense of joy that I receive when I can make others happy.  But on this particular day, others have blessed me and made me happy!

My friends and husband know me so well...I got lots of renunculus and let me tell you...I LOVE LOVE LOVE renunculus! So simple, delicate and beautiful.  My home is filled with beautiful life!

My sweet friend Erin put little succulents in a teacup! SO CUTE!

So another year has gone by...and another year is ahead of me.
Let's enjoy life as God has intended and be joyful and love others!

Be happy. Be floral.
